Headcanons

  • Ivan is bisexual, and will both be physically attracted to AND fall in love with either sex. For the most part, however, he likes men.
  • It’s very hard to get Ivan drunk, but when you do, he gets very violent.
  • Ivan is very touchy about the Cold War.
  • Ivan has the ability to defend himself, but will not attack.
  • His heart falls out when he is sad, surprised, or lovestruck, and whenever it does he panics. {{There is really no logic behind how it falls out: I am still trying to figure out a reasonable way. Bear with me!}}
  • If the Tsar is brought up he will become bittersweet. He knows it was the best thing at the time for them to go, but he misses Olga, Alexei, Anastasia, Tatiana and Maria.
  • Ivan is resentful of snow, but can’t say he hates it.
  • Sunflowers make him the happiest thing in the world.
  • He suffers from awful night terrors.
  • Ivan can’t STAND being a burden, and would rather starve than ask for food.
  • Ivan is very contact oriented. He likes to be held close because he likes to feel someone there.  Sometimes it feels too good to be true and he needs to reassure himself.
  • Ivan loves ballet. He will never admit it unless he trusts you not to tease him for it (as ballet is considered “girly” in a few countries), even though it’s kind of (*coughreallycough*) obvious that he adores it. (Tchaaaaiikoooovskyyyyy)
  • Ivan is a great ice-skater.
  • Ivan is no good at telling jokes. He’ll always forget the punchline, or the joke to go with it. Running with jokes is the same way for him. He’ll always sound serious, and it will be difficult to tell if he took as a joke or actually thought it was real.
  • Ivan has a love for cuddling with things, whether it be a person or a blanket or even a teddy bear.
{{Well, that’s it for now. More will be added as I remember/think of them. C: }}
